At Snuggle Bunnies Childcare (Home Nursery), we believe that we are good role models to ignite babies and children's first steps of development, providing the foundation to curious minds and learners exploring and investigating the amazing world around them. ​
We encourage little learners to become independent with purposeful activities and resources of their choice. As Early Years Educators, our intention is to enhance babies and children's learning and development. The best way to do this is to combine free flow play and structured play in stimulating learning environments. With this support, we as Early Years Educators will focus on individual learning and plan for children's next steps.
In addition, we support and encourage parent partnerships in developing their child's progress. We want your children to be the best that they can be and thrive in their journey.
For that reason, we can emphasise with you as parents as we will provide your child with a range of resources at Snuggle Bunnies Childcare.
We understand that creating these resources can be time-consuming but we will have various ways to model how to use these resources, such as short videos or short meetings in the setting.

Health & Safety
Snuggle Bunnies Childcare (Home Nursery) has a secure entry with CCTV at the front of the building and the back of the building where the children will enter the setting and start their play experience in the different play areas. This will ensure the safety of children and those working in the setting, including visitors. Access into the setting is only given to known parents, carers, the assistant and visitors who will be escorted by the childminder or assistant.

The provision is risk assessed each morning and throughout the day, indoors and outdoors to ensure the cleanliness, safety of children and those working in the setting are a priority.

PPE is available for the childminder, assistant and visitors to keep everyone safe. We are COVID-19 Safe and continue to follow the government updated guidelines. Resources and equipment are provided for all areas of the setting providing that they are safe, non-hazardous and appropriate for the age and stage of development.

The childminder and assistant at the setting are Pediatric First Aided, with continuous professional development (training) to ensure that their knowledge and needs are always updated.

The childminder and assistant are Food, safety and hygiene certified, as the assistant will be handling and preparing food. Everyone working in the setting will update their food, safety and hygiene training regularly.

When children are taken on trips and outings, we confirm that the environment being used is risk assessed before going as well as while we are there. All children will have a bright coloured Hi-Vest with the setting contact numbers on the back to make sure that they are seen at all times.
